DAILY GUIDANCE FROM GOD DEVOTIONAL - Saturday, April 6th, 2024 AD
Shabbat, 27th of Adar II, 5784 (Hebrew Calendar)
Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything. James 1:2-4
The obstacles you face in life are never enough to stop you. What stops you is when you don't rely completely on your faith and believe that God can help you get past any obstacle you face. The problem is not that you have too much of this or too little of that, because God will give you exactly what you need. The problem is that you’re waiting for perfect conditions that don’t exist. Nothing in this life is perfect but God. Everything that happens in life takes place according to God's perfect plan in this imperfect world. Never make excuses for why you can’t accomplish something or get things done. You must focus on God and He will guide you and show you all the reasons why you must make it happen. There will always be challenges, but when you seek God, He will reveal how you can get past them and grow beyond them.
In life, obstacles emerge as threads woven into the fabric of our existence, yet their presence alone never holds the power to halt our journey. What truly impedes our progress is the faltering of our faith, the wavering belief in the divine assistance that awaits us. It is not a matter of lacking resources or possessing an excess thereof, for in the realm of God's provision, abundance is always precisely meted out. The crux lies in the fallacy of awaiting ideal circumstances in an imperfect world, forgetting that perfection resides solely within the embrace of God. Every twist and turn of existence unfolds according to the immaculate design of the Almighty, within the imperfect tapestry of human existence. Excuses are but feeble barriers erected by the doubtful mind, yet when the focus shifts towards God, His guidance illuminates the path forward, revealing the latent strength within to surmount any challenge and transcend beyond it. Thus, as we navigate the complexities of life, let us anchor ourselves steadfastly in faith, for therein lies the power to surmount obstacles and unfurl the true purpose ordained for us by the divine hand of God.
LET'S PRAY: Dear Heavenly Father, full of grace and steadfastness, lead me to remember that Your power is greater than any obstacles or challenges I will ever face. Lord, I look to You, for You are the Author and Finisher of my faith. Lord, I will remain sincere and truthful to You. I will trust in You and rely completely on You. Lord, I believe that Your greatness will transform every obstacle into a blessing. In the name of Your Son, Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
