DAILY GUIDANCE FROM GOD DEVOTIONAL - Sunday, April 7th, 2024 AD
Yom Rishon, 28th of Adar II, 5784 (Hebrew Calendar)
For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways,” declares the Lord. “As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts. Isaiah 55:8-9
God wants you to let go of the things you can’t control. You constantly think and worry about these things because your mind is focused on them instead of being focused on God. Positive things will happen in your life when you put faith in God and allow Him to distance you from anyone or anything that is negative. God has allowed things to happen in your life that have changed your perspective, taught you lessons, and forced your spirit to grow. God shows you unconditional love every single day because He wants only the best for you. Instead of stressing out and worrying about things you can't control, trust God wholeheartedly and allow Him to show you peace, joy, and happiness.
In life, God's message resonates with a profound truth: release the burdens beyond your grasp. It's an invitation to relinquish the relentless grip on circumstances beyond control, a gentle reminder that the essence of faith lies in surrender. Amidst the ceaseless hum of worry, God's voice calls for a shift in focus, a redirection of the mind's eye towards His unwavering presence. For in the tapestry of existence, threads of positivity weave their way when faith becomes the loom upon which life's fabric unfolds. Through trials and triumphs, God's hand guides, sculpting lessons from adversities and blessings alike, nurturing the sapling of the spirit into sturdy growth. His love, boundless and unconditional, paints the canvas of each day with hues of hope and grace. Embracing this divine love means embracing peace in the face of uncertainty, joy amidst chaos, and happiness in the knowledge that His providence is steadfast. Thus, by releasing the weight of the uncontrollable into His care, we find not only comfort but the freedom to flourish in His light.
LET'S PRAY: Dear Heavenly Father, today, I lay my worries before You. I ask You to take control now. I kneel in prayer, pleading for Your attention and guidance. Lord, I approach You with confidence and boldness, knowing You are the One True Living God. I surrender my life into Your capable Hands. Please direct my steps and lead me. I acknowledge You in all my ways. Please establish the works of my hands and shield me from evil and negative influences. Lord, may I never be anxious about anything, but be assured that You are in control and able to provide all that I need. You are the God of all grace, and every good and perfect gift comes from You. In the name of Your Son, Jesus Christ, I pray. Amen.
